A shocking incident took place in the center of Novi Pazar late last night when a police officer suffered serious injuries after being attacked by a minor.

The attacker used a sharp object and inflicted three stab wounds on the officer, including to both legs and testicles, which resulted in an emergency medical intervention due to gravity of the injuries.
The victim was rushed to the Novi Pazar General Hospital, where he is currently undergoing surgery, Sanzak Danas is reporting.
The police quickly responded by identifying and detaining the juvenile suspect.
