After the early elimination in Indian Wells, Djokovic "asked" for a few days to think things over, and has now reportedly decided not to continue his participation in the so-called Sunshine Double.
Novak arrived in the US with a lot of self-confidence, but was already in the 3rd round of Indian Wells defeated by "lucky loser" Luca Nardi.
Not long after a news conference that followed the match, he hinted at possibly skipping Miami after all.
"Miami is here, let's see. Ten minutes ago I was on the court, my head is still a little hot. I have to take a day or two and then see what I want to do next."
Miami Open is set to be played March 20-31.
