Vucevic stressed that Serbia respects Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) as a friendly neighboring country, made up of two equal entities and three constituent peoples

Serbian Defense Minister Milos Vucevic said last night that Serbia is taking care of the survival of the Serb Republic (RS, Serb entity in BiH), but pointed out that Belgrade respects the territorial integrity of BiH.

In an interview with RTRS, he said that there is pressure on Belgrade and President Aleksandar Vucic to "discipline" Banja Luka and RS President Milorad Dodik.

Vucevic stressed that Serbia respects Bosnia and Herzegovina as a friendly neighboring country, made up of two equal entities and three constituent peoples.

"Everything that excludes one nation and one entity, everything that is imposed is not good for Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Vucevic.

He added that Belgrade, "unlike some political structures in Sarajevo (regarding Serbia)" says it very clearly that it respects the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"However, the political elite in Sarajevo do not really respect the territorial integrity of Serbia. They cannot formally implement it because of the RS and the Serb people in BiH - regarding (recognizing) Kosovo and Metohija," said Vucevic.
