The year 2024 has just begun, and this Monday, February 12, will remain in the calendar as one of the saddest in the 21st century, as Serbia has to say goodbye to its legendary basketball player Dejan Milojevic, who left this world too soon after suffering a heart attack in Salt Lake City, at the age of 46.

Dejan Milojevic is someone who left his mark as a player in Serbia, and was just beginning to prove himself as a coach, he worked at Maga for a long time and was responsible for discovering many basketball players, and then went to Golden State, where he joined Steve Kerr's coaching staff, with whom he won the title.

Milojevic was extremely important to Steve Kerr, who was not only his colleague, but also a friend, as the American himself showed when he traveled to Serbia to be present at the funeral of his friend in New Belgrade today.

Steve Kerr arrived in the Serbian capital together with a Golden State delegation, which included Mike Dunleavy, Bob Myers, and Zaza Pachulia.

Apart from them, there were many other basketball legends, both from Serbia and the regional, and elsewhere around the world.
