Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic, who is participating in the World Government Summit 2024 in Dubai, met today on the sidelines of the gathering with Minister for Artificial Intelligence of the United Arab Emirates Omar Al Olama.

"I am glad to start my visit to the United Arab Emirates by meeting once again with Minister of Artificial Intelligence of the UAE Omar Sultan Al Olama, and a discussion about an important topic in which we see Serbia's future success - artificial intelligence," Brnabic wrote on her Instagram account.

She recalled that cooperation between Serbia and the UAE was already established when the memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of digitization, which also includes the field of artificial intelligence, was signed in May 2022.

"Tomorrow, we are signing a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence with the Large Language Model (LLM) Falcon. LLM enables the training of large data sets and the development of tools such as ChatGPT. This cooperation will allow our Institute for Artificial Intelligence, as well as other researchers to use Falcon solutions, but also to add data sets for the Serbian language," said Brnabic.

She stressed that all this will contribute to the exchange of experiences, which will help to develop and use artificial intelligence in Serbia in the right and successful way.
