Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija will hold a large public protest starting at noon today in Kosovska Mitrovica, with which they wish to draw the attention of the whole world and the international community to their disenfranchised position, especially because of the decision of Pristina and the prime minister of the provisional institutions of Pristina, Albin Kurti, to ban the Serbian dinar, which threatens them staying and surviving in their homes.

The Association of Pensioners, whose representatives announced and reported the rally to the competent authorities, said that they expect a large number of their compatriots, healthcare workers, educators, the socially vulnerable, students and youth at the rally, in a word, "all those whose existence is directly threatened by unfair measures from Pristina."

"This will be our joint peaceful appeal and gathering to show the whole world our suffering and disenfranchisement. The rally will be held at noon in the vicinity of Brace Milic Square," the Association told TV Most.
