Serbian football squad to get redesigned coat of arms, white eagle will no longer be part of it!
The four Cyrillic "S" letters (symbols from the Serbian cross, that look like Latin alphabet "C's"), are coming back, the jersey is getting new colors, too
The Committee for Urgent Issues of the Football Association of Serbia (FSS) has made a decision to change the coat of arms on the national team jerseys.
The white eagle with a lily is thus going away after only two years, the only question is when the decision will be officially implemented.
The old coat of arms with Cyrillic "S" letters ("ocila"), which was used for many years, will make a comeback on the jerseys. It remains to be seen whether this will happen already during the European Championship in Germany.
Another novelty will be the new colors of the jersey, which this time will be fully in the colors of Serbia - red, blue and white.
In the previous period, the primary color of the equipment of the Serbian football team was red, so it will be interesting to see what the new jerseys will look like.
