Warm February continues in Serbia, up to 23°C throughout this week: RHMZ reveals when snow will make comeback

The Republic Hydrometeorological Institute of Serbia (RHMZ) announced on its website that above-average warm weather awaits us throughout the week.

"It will be mostly sunny, occasionally with low to moderate cloud cover. The highs will range from 16 to 23 degrees Celsius. It will be windy on Friday and during the weekend, from February 9 to 11 - moderate and strong south and southwest winds, while southeast wind will blow in the Kosava region," said the RHMZ.

The state meteorological authority added that first instances of local precipitation will happen on Sunday, February 11.

"Whereas at the beginning of next week, i.e. February 12 to 13, the rain will become more frequent in most places. From Tuesday, February 13, there will be a cooling with the transition of rain to snow in the mountains," said the RHMZ.

According to them, during the whole week, the daily temperature fluctuations will be pronounced, especially outside the larger urban areas in central and southern Serbia, where lows will range from -2 to 2 °C, while the highest daily temperatures will locally reach up to 20 °C.
