More than 50 firefighters are working from the ground to put out the fire
Many people gathered at the site of a horrific fire that broke out in New Belgrade's Block 70 and watched in disbelief as the blaze engulfed a well known shopping center.

"This is terrifying, I've never seen a fire like this in my life," a Chinese man who was at the scene told us.
He added that he came to support his friends, because it is very tough on them, since this type of accident has happened for the second time.
"They are shaken because a lot of goods have burned," added our interlocutor.
At the scene, we also met an owner who managed to save all the items from her store.
"Last time, my goods burned," said this woman.
While we were talking to her, a helicopter appeared from the smoke that hung above us. Firefighters then warned everyone to get back, because intervention to extinguish the fire was also starting from the air.
More than 50 firefighters are working from the ground.
The police have moved people into a wider area around the burning shopping center, they are helping the Chinese owners to remove as many goods as possible, but where safety is at risk they are closing all the passages.
