The emergency medical service in Aleksinac last night examined 57 workers from the Magna factory locarted in that town, after new cases of poisoning.

As the director of the hospital in Aleksinac, Goran Vidic, told Telegraf.rs, out of a total of 57 examined, 10 were sent to the internal medicine ward of the hospital.

"Four patients were kept for treatment. Of that number, one was referred to the toxicology ward of the University Hospital Nis and was then sent back to the hospital," said Vidic.

A new group of Magna factory workers from Aleksinac reported to the emergency services in that city last night. They had the symptoms similar to those experienced by workers the previous day.

President of the Municipality Dalibor Radicevic confirmed for RTS that around 2 o'clock this morning, some 50 workers got examined and that five or six were kept in the hospital in Aleksinac for observation.

The first instance of poisoning took place in the night between Wednesday and Thursday. After the investigation was completed, Magna workers returned to the third shift last night, but then a new incident occurred.
