17 kilos of drugs found in dealer den near Backi Petrovac: 3 arrested

Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Backi Petrovac arrested N.A. (53), LJ.A. (42) and S.A. (20) from this town, on suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs.

In an improvised building in Maglic, the police found 30 stalks of dried marijuana weighing about 17 kilograms, which are suspected to belong to the suspects.

Also, by searching their apartment, the police found 105 grams of marijuana and equipment for packaging narcotic drugs.

The suspects are now detained for up to 48 hours and will be brought to the higher public prosecutor in Novi Sad, along with a criminal complaint.
