Vucic offers condolences to people of Iran: "I am deeply shaken by the terrible act of terrorism"
He wished those injured a speedy recovery
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic posted a message on X expressing his condolences to the people of Iran.
"I am deeply shaken by the terrible act of terrorism in Iran, in which over a hundred people lost their lives. I express my condolences to the friendly Iranian people and President Ebrahim Raisi, and I wish those injured and their families a speedy recovery," the president wrote.
Serbian First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic also offered his condolences to the victims, and the people and authorities of Iran.
The number of victims from yesterday's two explosions in Kerman, Iran, increased to 103, while 141 people were wounded. They had gathered on the fourth anniversary of the killing of the former general of the elite Iranian Quds Forcs, Qasem Soleimani.
In an address to the media, a senior Iranian official called the explosions an act of terrorism, but did not specify who might be behind them.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
