Vice President of the Main Board of the Serbian Progressive Party Vladimir Orlic said last night that the greatest thugs and destroyers from the former regime have set out to destroy institutions, trying to drag Serbia into conflict and disaster.

"The biggest thugs and savages, destroyers from the former regime under the command of tycoons and thieves, tonight (last night) embarked on their dark feast - the destruction of institutions and attempts to drag the whole of Serbia into conflict and disaster," said Orlic, according to a statement from the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).

He said that the savage demolition of the City Assembly (in Belgrade) and attempts to set the building on fire, along with open calls for lynching and the use of explosives "are the final stage of the madness of a rabid gang that wants to seize power at the cost of other people's lives."

Orlic pointed out that "nothing except violence is left of the fake name 'Serbia Against Violence' (the name of the opposition coalition)" along with the trampling of the people's will and the right to life of decent citizens.

"What remained of the fake name 'Serbia Against Violence' is open violence and destruction, directed against Serbia and intended to put a noose around its neck, by brutally trampling the will of the people and the right to life and peace of decent and honest people, who make up a convincing majority in this country," said Orlic and added that Serbia will not allow that.

"Serbia has chosen life and progress, stood firmly by its president Aleksandar Vucic and decided that - it will not stop. Whereas a gang of fools and savages can only drag themselves into the past and darkness. They have nothing in common with Serbia," he concluded.
