A worrying statement

The Denver team played in Chicago, on Serbian Heritage Day, where they won, but where their best player, Nikola Jokic, got sent off after saying something to the referee, which he obviously shouldn't have.

After the match, Jokic spoke to the press, talking about the match, as well as the referee's decision, but he also spoke to the Serbian media.

There was an RTS correspondent in Chicago considering that it was Serbian Heritage Day, and he asked Jokic something that actually interests the whole of Serbia, and that is - whether the basketballer will play at the Olympic Games in Paris.

However, Jokic did not give the expected answer.

"It's far away, some people say that I have said something, they put words in my mouth, everyone knows the first one to find out is the (national team) head coach. It's a long way away for me, it's the same story every year, when the season ends, I'll always talk to my family, my team, the head coach will be the first to know," Jokic said, and was then asked if he would like to play.

"Would I like to? It's very far away," Jokic was brief.
