Election commission: 6,500,165 Serbians have right to vote in upcoming elections
The commission unanimously decided to announce the total number of voters in Serbia for the elections for deputies in the National Assembly, scheduled for December 17, 2023
The Republic Election Commission (RIK) adopted a decision by which it determined that the total number of eligible voters in the upcoming December 17 elections will be 6,500,165.
RIK determined that the number of ballots to be printed for voting in the elections will be equal to the number of voters, 6,500,165.
At a session held on Sunday, RIK considered the decision on the objection of the applicant of the electoral list "Serbia against violence - Miroslav Mika Aleksic - Marinika Tepic" concerning the vote for councilors in the Kraljevo City Assembly, explaining that the decision on that objection is not within its jurisdiction.
The fourth item on the agenda referred to the decision on the objection of the applicant of the electoral list "We - a voice from the people, Professor Dr. Branimir Nestorovic" which the commission adopted and on that occasion appointed Branislav Uzelac as a member of the Municipal Election Commission in Stara Pazova, in the expanded composition.
The session was attended by 31 members of RIK, and was chaired by President of Serbia's Republic Election Commission Vladimir Dimitrijevic.
