First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dacic is in Skopje, North Macedonia where he will participate in the 30th Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).

Dacic will participate in the plenary session of the Council, and the plan is to hold several bilateral meetings with foreign ministers of other countries. Also, it was announced that he will sign a joint statement with the heads of diplomacy of Southeastern European countries regarding the fight against corruption.

More than 70 delegations are participating in the meeting, while the arrival of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Lavrov attracted special attention. He flew to North Macedonia yesterday via Turkey and Greece, because Bulgaria refused to open its airspace.

Because of Lavrov's participation, the event is boycotted by ministers of foreign affairs of Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

The ministerial meeting lasts until Friday, December 1.
