Hungary's Janos Lazar: "I have best ally in Minister Vesic"
He said that Hungary's ambitious goal is to be the western gateway for Serbia
Hungarian Minister of Transport and Construction Janos Lazar said today that he has the best ally in his Serbian counterpart, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic, called on citizens of Serbia to support the current government in the elections scheduled for December 17, and in that way allow the joint work on the projects that have been started to continue.
Speaking at the Palic railway station near Subotica, northern Serbia, where he was together with Minister Vesic for the reestablishment of the railway line between Subotica and Szeged, Lazar said that a fantastic program of building roads and railways is taking place in that part of Vojvodina (Serbia's northern province).
"We will continue our joint work and contribute even more by setting up new border crossings near Kelebija and Hercegszanto," said Lazar and added that, among other things, the Subotica-Baja railway will be built.
He noted that Hungary's ambitious goal is to be the western gateway for Serbia.
"I found the best ally in the minister in the Serbian government and in all my (Serbian) political friends. I would ask (Serbian) citizens and voters to, on December 17, allow us to continue the work we started. If I lived here, I would certainly vote for those who are here now. I wish you much success in the elections and we look forward to continuing our joint work," said Lazar.
