After birthday party in Belgrade kids end up in hospital: Doctors notice one horrifying thing in X-rays

Telegraf has learned that none of the children were hospitalized and there were luckily no dramatic events

A mother from Belgrade wanted to give her child a dream birthday party, not realizing that she would have to take the child to the hospital afterwards. As confirmed for Telegraf, this child, as well as a couple of others, were admitted to the children's hospital in Tirsova Street after the party, and the X-rays taken revealed no less than - wires!

These days, parents are prone to spending a fortune on their children's birthdays, starting with decorations, outfits, the birthday cake - everything has to be perfect. Cakes are often large, and decorated with various figurines representing heroes from favorite cartoons, which can turn out to be dangerous.

It was one such birthday cake that "spoiled" the party, after several children swallowed the wire from such figurines.

"Parents, pay attention to the decorations on cakes, muffins... In order for the figurines to keep their shape, they are often reinforced with toothpicks, Styrofoam, wires.. A couple of children ended up in Tirsova last night because they swallowed small wires that held together a bear's ear," warned one Twitter user.

Telegraf has learned that none of the children were hospitalized and there were luckily no dramatic events.

The Tirsova Street hospital confirmed for our portal that the children were admitted on Saturday.

"But no one was hospitalized, everyone was sent home. There was a wire inside one child, but nothing dramatic," the clinic told Telegraf.

However, parents are urged to take care when choosing sweets for their little ones, precisely because of situations like this.
