Vucic told the citizens not to worry: "We are responsible enough to protect our country"

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic faced criticism that elements of Serbian statehood in Kosovo have been surrendered and responded by saying that only in the last few years, during the current authorities - 27 countries have withdrawn their recognition of Kosovo.

"They tell us about who is responsible for the loss of statehood, those during whose time 85 countries recognized independence and none withdrew recognition of so-called Kosovo. And they are telling me, or us, during whose time 27 countries have withdrawn their recognition of so-called Kosovo," Vucic posted on Instagram.

He told the citizens not to worry.

"People don't need to worry, we are responsible enough to protect our country," said Vucic.
