New Serbian ambassador to Israel meets with family of kidnapped Alon Ohel
There is no indication that the military knows where the hostages are being held, but many are believed to be in Hamas' vast network of underground tunnels
The new ambassador of Serbia to Israel, Miroljub Petrovic, spoke today with the family of Alon Ohel, who was kidnapped on October 7 during the clashes between Israel and Hamas.
As stated by the ambassador in a post on X, information was exchanged about what Serbia, Israel and the international community are undertaking as part of efforts to achieve his release.
Alon Ohel was kidnapped while he was attending a music festival. He hid in a shelter when the attack began, and his friends said he was among those "throwing grenades back when Hamas threw them into the shelter to kill them."
One of Alon's friends woke up in Haifa's Rambam Hospital and said he saw the terrorists taking Alon away alive.
There is no indication that the military knows where the hostages are being held, but many are believed to be in Hamas' vast network of underground tunnels.
