BIA (Security Intelligence Agency) Director Aleksandar Vulin paid tribute to Milovanovic, Rankovic and Penezic on the occasion of the 124th anniversary of the establishment of the Department of Confidential Police Affairs.

The BIA director, Aleksandar Vulin, accompanied by the Agency's top officials, laid a wreath at the monument to the first head of the Department of Confidential Police Affairs, Jovan S. Milovanovic, at the Topcider cemetery.

Vulin also, accompanied by senior officials of the Agency, paid his respects and laid wreaths at the monuments to Aleksandar "Leka" Rankovic and Slobodan "Krcun" Penezic in the Alley of People's Heroes.

They were the first heads of the Department for People's Protection (OZNA) for Yugoslavia and Serbia and the first post-Second World War ministers of internal affairs.
