Milan Radoicic put into police detention that can last up to 48 hours
He has been brought to the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade along with a criminal complaint
Today, police officers of the Criminal Police Directorate searched the apartment and other premises of Milan Radoicic, who was detained by the police for up to 48 hours.
He has been brought to the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade along with a criminal complaint, according to a Ministry of Interior (MUP) statement.
Milan Radoicic's legal representative, lawyer Goran Petronijevic, addressed the public last week after Radoicic submitted his irrevocable resignation from the position of vice-president of the Serb List.
He at the time said that Radoicic was ready to respond to any invitation of the Serbian authorities. The lawyer added that the information about Radojicic's state of health was not correct, he had been neither hurt or wounded.
A few days after that, on Saturday, September 30, Radoicic responded to the Serbian state authorities' summons and, accompanied by his lawyer, entered the premises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in order to give a statement as a citizen regarding the circumstances of the tragic events in Banjska, early on Sunday morning, September 24, 2023.
As stated in the Ministry of Interior's announcement at the time, the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade was to be informed about everything in the form of a report, which institution would then take further procedural measures and actions within its jurisdiction.
