The former US special envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Richard Grenell, asked journalists at the White House why they allow national security adviser Jake Sullivan and White House spokesman John Kirby to lie about a build-up of troops at the administrative crossings between central Serbia and Kosovo and Metohija.

"Why do White House journalists allow Sullivan and Kirby to lie about the build-up of troops between Kosovo and Serbia," said Grenell on the social network X (Twitter), commenting on an article published on the portal "Pavlovic Today" under the title, "The president of Serbia rejects White House claims: Sending troops to administrative line with Kosovo is a pure lie."
Yesterday, Grenell accused US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Jake Sullivan of spreading false information about the deployment of Serbian soldiers at the administrative crossings with Kosovo and Metohija and pointed out that there is a reduction, not an increase in the number of soldiers.
He indicated that last year there were 14,000 Serbian soldiers, that today there are 7,500, and by Monday, he stated, there will be 4,000 at the administrative crossings.
