The Special Prosecutor's Office in Pristina announced today that it released four suspects in the shooting incident in Banjska in Zvecan, due to a lack of evidence that would indicate their involvement in the case.

As announced by the Prosecutor's Office, the suspects were released on Tuesday, Albanian language outlet Koha said, Tanjug reported.

"We inform you that four persons who were arrested during the operation of the Kosovo police in the village of Banjska in the municipality of Zvecan were released yesterday by the Special Prosecutor's Office of the republic of Kosovo in the absence of evidence from the Kosovo police," announced the prosecution.

The so-called Kosovo police arrested eight people suspected of being connected to the armed conflict that happened last Sunday in the village of Banjska.
