Serbian Government declares September 27 day of mourning in wake of tragic events in Kosovo and Metohija

In Serb communities in Kosovo and Metohija, September 26, 27 and 28 have been declared days of mourning

At today's extraordinary session, the Government of the Republic of Serbia declared September 27 a day of mourning because of the tragic events in Kosovo and Metohija, that took place over the weekend.

The Government of Serbia is asking all media and organizers of public events to adapt their program tomorrow to a day of mourning and thus pay respect to those killed in Kosovo and Metohija.

In Serb areas in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija September 26, 27 and 28 have been declared days of mourning for our fellow citizens who were killed during a tragic event in Banjska, in the municipality of Zvecan, the Serb List announced earlier.
