Avaz reports: Hitmen from Serbia arrested in Sarajevo, these are their names
Those arrested rented several apartments at the very top of Sarajevo Tower
Members of the Sarajevo Canton police (MUP KS) arrested two people yesterday in Sarajevo Tower, acting on an Interpol notice issued by Serbia.
We have learned that the suspects were renting several apartments at the very top of this building.
Sources close to the police say that Dusan "Giba" Jovanovic and Darko Dulovic are the persons now under arrest. The news report says they were detained by the MUP with the help of the OSA agency, which located them.
Jovanovic is associated with the clan led by Veljko Belivuk, but also with Darko Saric.
Bojan Hrvatin, a witness in the proceedings against the Belivuk gang and Marko Miljkovic, who are accused in Serbia of committing most serious crimes, presented a number of details during his testimony in March about the murder of two members of (Montenegro's) Skaljari Clan in Corfu, Greece.
Alan Kozar and Damir Hadzic were killed in July 2020 in Corfu, and Hrvatin claims that Dusan Jovanovic from Belgrade was among the killers. Jovanovic's brother Vuk was wounded in a stabbing in front of the building where he lived.
The media in Serbia reported last November that Dusan Jovanovic planned to assassinate Veselin Milic, the chief of the Belgrade police, and it was all revealed via messages exchanged on the Sky platform.
In June, the Appellate Court in Belgrade confirmed the verdict of the Higher Court and acquitted Darko Dulovic of the charge of assisting in the aggravated murder of Sinisa "Boske" Milic, who was reputed to be a close associate of Luka Bojovic.
Apart from Serbia, other countries are looking for the two suspects arrested in Sarajevo. It is being determined who they were planning to kill.
