After a traffic accident when one vehicle was moving in the wrong direction until it directly collided with another and caught on fire, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic signed an order to install additional traffic signs at all highway exits to warn drivers they are traveling in the wrong direction.

"I have signed an order for JP Putevi Srbije (Public Company Roads of Serbia) to place additional traffic signs warning of movement in the wrong direction at all exits from highways, and do it within three weeks. We have decided to place new traffic signs in addition to the existing ones that are there already, in accordance with the law," Vesic posted on Facebook.
He added that, unfortunately, most of those who drive wrong way on a highway do so intentionally, regardless of traffic signs.
