We found owner of gym where Nermin Sulejmanovic worked: With pain in his voice, he said only one thing
Emir has faced horrific threats in recent days, since it became known that he was the one who found murder victim Nizama's baby
Residents of Gradacac in Bosnia-Herzegovina are mourning after Nermin Sulejmanovic brutally killed three people and then took his own life last Friday.
A Telegraf team is in Gradacac today, where everyone is saddened because of the untimely deaths of Nermin's common law wife Nizama Hecimovic, and father and son Denis and Onder Dzengiz, who were killed in the street, after Sulejmanovic shot Nizama in the head in front of their daughter, in a weekend home near Gradacac, and streamed this first murder live online.
The child, fortunately unharmed, was found in a pool of blood by Emir Dzinovic, the owner of a gym where Nermin worked as a coach.
We found Emir at his gym this morning, speechless from pain. As he looked at our reporter, his face showed how hard he has been hit by everything that happened.
He said with a trembling voice that he was unable to tell us anything.
"Please, don't. I said what I had to say, now the police should say theirs," Emir barely uttered the words.
This young man has faced horrific threats in recent days.
After he confirmed that he was the one who found the child, he started receiving scary messages.
"As of tonight, the hunt for you is on, just so you know," reads one of the threatening messages.
After that, Emir wrote a poignant post on social networks, in which he said goodbye to the murder victim Nizama.
"I tried, I did my best, I risked my life, a little angel (the child) has been saved. Nizama, I'm glad I knew you, I will always remember your smile, your voice will echo in my head. Sorry Nizama, we all failed. May Allah send you to Jannah, you woman, queen," he wrote.
