Austrian citizen of Serbian origin, N.R (18), a native of Vienna, was fined 250 euros by the Court for Misdemeanors in Budva, Montenegro, for inappropriate behavior towards other tourists, coming from Kuwait.

The Budva police filed a misdemeanor complaint against the Austrian, after Kuwaiti man M.A. reported the incident.

Namely, as Vijesti has been told, the tourist told the police that he and his family members, wife and children, were on a sidewalk at around 8:30 on in the town's center when someone poured a liquid from the balcony of an apartment. The liquid was determined to have been an alcoholic beverage.

This made the tourist very angry, because his wife was wearing traditional (Muslim) clothes, including a hijab, and he considers it a religious provocation, bearing in mind that someone poured alcohol on them.

The police immediately determined that it was an Austrian who had just come of age, and took him into custody.

After the hearing, he was charged with a misdemeanor envisaged in the Law on Public Order and Peace, i.e., with insolent and reckless behavior in a public place.
