Bomb attack on property of Serb List member in Kosovo: "Unacceptable and worrying"
An attack in which no one was injured thanks to sheer luck must be taken very seriously and treated with due attention, said the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic
A bomb attack on the property of Serb List deputy Zoran Maksimovic from Ranilug, which comes after different kinds of pressure and provocations against the Serb people south of the Ibar River, is unacceptable and worrying, said the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic.
"An attack in which no one was injured thanks to sheer luck must be taken very seriously and treated with due attention, because it sends a message to Serbs and their legitimate representatives that they are not safe in their homes, on their own doorstep.
We call on international representatives to use their authority to help shed light on all the circumstances of this cowardly attack, which must not remain another unresolved ethnically-movivated incident.
Serbs south of the Ibar will never forget the horrors they endured at the hands of extremists, and incidents like this only bring back the feelings of fear and anxiety among the Serb community," added Petkovic.
