After yesterday's tensions and a physical fight between Assembly deputies from the Self-Determination and the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the session continued, when deputies from the opposition Democratic Party of Kosovo, Democratic Alliance of Kosovo and Alliance for the Future blocked the rostrum, demanding that the session be stopped.

According to Pristina-based Koha, the president of the assembly of so-called Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, said that citizens will judge who started the fight, and that it is in everyone's interest to overcome this situation as soon as possible, reports Tanjug.

"Let's continue the session where we left off. Even Prime Minister Albin Kurti has the will to give up on his address. Citizens are waiting for us to continue as normal. We will go to the elections whenever you want," said Konjufca.

He asked the deputies to "overcome the problems with understanding and continue with parliamentary questions," adding that these are the demands of the citizens.

Konjufca stressed that he hopes that the unfortunate scenes would not be repeated.

A fight broke out between the deputies earlier on Thursday, after one of the members of the assembly poured water on Kurti and his deputy, Besnik Bislimi.

During the session, opposition deputies placed a banner with the word "Hello" on the podium and added Kurti's photo to the banner, and just before the incident, Bislimi stood up, removed Kurti's photo and tore it up.

According to the Pristina media, opposition deputies were insulting Kurti all the time while he was talking about the situation in the north of Kosovo, calling him "scum."

At one point, a representative of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Mergim Lustak, approached Kurti and first poured water on him, and then on Bislimi, and Bislimi retaliated by hitting him on the head with a water bottle.

That's when a physical conflict between ministers in the Pristina government and members of the opposition took place. In the video, you can see the commotion and the fight, as well as opposition deputies running up to take part in the fight.
