Brmabic: Serbia wants to develop and expand economic relations with Israel

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brmabic pointed out on Wednesday in a conversation with Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen in Belgrade that relations between the two countries are based on the "historical closeness of the Serb and Jewish people," reported Tanjug.
As announced by the government, the prime minister stressed that Israel is the most important trade partner of Serbia in the Middle East, and the fourth on the Asian continent.
She added that Serbia wants to continue developing and expanding economic relations with Israel, which includes increasing trade.

Cohen thanked the Serbian authorities and people for guarding the sites of the suffering of the Jews, expressed his desire to improve cooperation between Serbia and Israel, and invited Prime Minister Brmabic to visit Israel.
