Landscapes of Serbian mountains will be seen by millions: Zlatibor to be featured on national Greek TV
Serbia is a real treasure trove of tourist attractions
"Balkania Express," one of the most watched travel shows, which is broadcast not only in Greece but also throughout Europe, has an audience of several million in many European countries
A four-member crew from Thessaloniki stayed on Mt. Zlatibor for three days and during that time they visited and filmed numerous attractions and tourist sites that make Zlatibor recognizable and unique.
The Stopica Cave, the Staro Selo (Old Village) museum and the Weaver's Museum in Sirogojno, the Gostilje waterfall are all must-see attractions that will be featured in the new travel series about the Balkans.
Most of the attention in the show "Balkania Express" will be devoted to Zlatibor's Gold Gondola, Dino Park, Adventure Park, while Cultural Center and Gallery will also have their deserved place on the show. Shots from the sunny Kraljev Square, Lake Ribnica, and the Zlatibor Promenade will be featured in one of the most watched shows on Greek national television as soon as in the fall, when a new series will begin airing.
President of the municipality of Cajetina Milan Stamatovic, Director of the Zlatibor Tourist Organization Vladimir Zivanovic, and Director of the Gold Gondola Bojana Bozanic spoke for the show about the history of Zlatibor, the development of tourism, the Cajetina municipality's undertakings and capital projects.
The director and the organizer of the filming planned a three-day stay on Zlatibor, and after finishing this job, they will continue their journey through Montenegro and the Serb Republic (RS). However, when they realized that Zlatibor is a real treasure trove of tourist attractions, activities and an inexhaustible source of inspiration, they decided to return to Zlatibor after filming in the RS.
For that reason, at the end of July, the Zlatibor Tourist Organization will once again host the guests from Thessaloniki, when filming will resume both in the mountain's tourist center and in Jablanica, Mackat, Ljubis and other Zlatibor villages.
