Milan shot from 5 meters distance, then once again in head: Each detail of brutal Zemun murder was recorded

The Belgrade police are looking for a man who shot Milan J. (30) 10 times in Zemun on Wednesday afternoon, while disguised as a food delivery man. He fled the scene of the crime on a motorcycle, and as Telegraf.rs has learned, the cameras recorded his every step as well as the brutal killing.

Unofficially, the shooter followed Milan and waited for him to park his car in front of his house. He then approached the victim within five meters and fired nine shots at him. When he saw that the victim was lying motionless, he approached and shot him once again in the head.

The killer then quickly got on the motorcycle and fled. Probably in a heightened state of mind, he took a turn into a nearby laundromat where the camera recorded him again.

"The video shows a man approaching the house in a car, and a few meters away a 'food delivery man' on a motorcycle. The killer stops only five meters from him and waits for him to get out of the vehicle. The attacker then fires shots that hit the chest and abdomen. When the killer saw that Milan was lying motionless, he approached him and shot him point blank in the head," says our source.

After this brutal murder, the police announced Operation Vihor ("Whirlwind") and closed all exits from the city. It is suspected that the killer is hiding in some nearby apartment that he rented before the act.

The brutal murder took place in Ugrinovacki Road No. 38 on Wednesday around 2 pm.

The investigation is conducted by the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, and the prosecutor requested that an autopsy be performed.

Prior conviction

The victim, Milan J., was convicted in 2017 for the criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs. In the same year, he was also convicted for the extended criminal offense of robbery. He admitted to this crime and entered a plea bargain.

Then, it is said unofficially, he was sentenced to a single prison term of four years. After serving two-thirds of the sentence, he requested parole, which was granted in December 2020, and he had been free since then.

Otherwise, from the beginning of the year to June 20, 18 murders and 23 aggravated ones took place in Serbia. In a short period of time, the police solved all those cases.
