The German ambassador in Pristina, Jorn Rohde, repeated the call for deescalation of the situation in the north, which was sent today by the German-Kosovo Association of Businesses, expressing concern that German companies could give up on investing in Kosovo, or stop the existing activities.

The German-Kosovo Association of Businesses stressed that the news about political instability significantly undermines the confidence of German buyers and investors and that this has a negative impact on German-Kosovo economic relations and harms Kosovo as a location for investments and business.

"Concerning damage for Kosovo's economic prospect are already on the horizon, damaging its reputation and potential also vis-à-vis business community. We reiterate this call from the German-Kosovar Association of Businesses for imminent de-escalation," Rohde wrote on Twitter.
