Because of the arrests of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija seven days ago, the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, called on the international community to help free the innocent men.

On his Twitter account, he commented on the arrest and what he termed as the abduction of Rados Petrovic and Dusan Obrenovic.

"It’s been a week since Kurti’s police abducted Rados Petrovic and Dusan Obrenovic, while they were sitting peacefully in front of Zvecan municipal building! Photos and videos made that day clearly prove that Rados and Dusan were arrested prior to any riots in Zvecan."

"It is obvious that Kurti is apprehending and persecuting innocent Serbs! seen this unambiguous evidence? We demand immediate reaction and liberation of innocent Serbs Rados and Dusan!," he wrote.

In his tweets, Petkovic specifically tagged special representative of the European Union for dialogue Miroslav Lajcak, the head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo Michael Davenport, the head of EULEX Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, and UNMIK (@MiroslavLajcak @DavenportOSCE @LarsGWigemark @UNMIKosovo).
