Bomb threats sent to 115 elementary and high schools: Serbian Ministry of Education reacts
Students and teachers have been evacuated
According to initial information, notifications about the allegedly planted explosive devices arrived at email addresses of 78 elementary and 37 high schools in municipalities across Belgrade, the Ministry of Education has announced.
"MUP (Interior Ministry) teams are on the ground, students and employees have been evacuated. In order to ensure the safety of students and employees, classes in the first shift have been suspended until the police check is completed, and some schools have already been inspected and classes have resumed without problems. Schools will inform students and their parents about all relevant information through regular communication channels.
In communication with the MUP, school principals will receive information when their school will be inspected and make a decision regarding the afternoon shift."
