A girl lost her battle for life after 12 days when she died yesterday from the injuries she received in the terrible shooting that took place in the Vladislav Ribnikar Elementary School, when K. K. (13) committed a massacre.

The doctors at the children's clinic in Tirsova Street in Belgrade fought for her life for 12 days. She is the tenth victim, and she was on the list of children to kill the boy made before committing the crime.

She was on the list with allegedly 15 other students from the class that K.K. attended. However, not all students who were killed or wounded were on that list made by the 13-year-old.

As Belgrade police chief Veselin Milic told a news conference on the day of the massacre, a schematic of the school premises that was found along with the list looks like something from a video game or a horror movie, which indicates that the shooter planned in detail how to enter which classroom and which child to kill and by number - from classes VII/2, VIII/4, VI/4, VIII/2, VII/4 and VII/3, one, four, two, six and six students, respectively. He had determined "priority targets."

The girl who passed away on Monday suffered severe head injuries during the shooting. She was in critical condition all the time, and the doctors, despite their best efforts, were unable to save her.

The massacre at the elementary school in Belgrade's central Vracar municipality took place on May 3, when the minor, K.K. (13), a student of that school, entered the premises armed and first killed a security guard, and then took the lives of eight students. The girl, who died in the hospital, is his tenth victim.

He himself called the police and told them what he had done. He was immediately detained, and after that his father and mother were taken into custody. K.K. took two pistols from his father, from a safe. As explained in detail by the head of the Belgrade police, Veselin Milic, the minor K.K. was planned the crime for a month, but did not disclose his motive.

"We are lost for words in the face of this tragedy. A huge human tragedy. This morning around 8:40 a.m., Ivanka Jovanovic, assistant director, called the emergency police department in Belgrade and reported that a child had entered the school with a firearm and was shooting randomly. Police patrols were immediately dispatched. After that, at 8:42 am, an N.N. person who introduced himself as K.K. also called the police and said that he had shot several people. When the officers arrived at the scene, it was determined that a firearm had been used by the boy who called our service. Eight students, seven girls and one boy died," Milic said at the time.
