Vucevic on threat of war: We will never allow Serb people in Kosovo to be unprotected
Vucevic told the Albanian politicians who are making these dangerous statements and threats that they should know and be aware that the borders of Serbia are known and that, according to UN Security Council Resolution 1244, they are on the Sara and Prokletije mountains
Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Defense Milos Vucevic has told Kosovo Online that a statement made by Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy Hisen Berisha, that "Kosovo is ready for war if its integrity and sovereignty are violated" is just another dangerous provocation by which Pristina is trying to drag Serbia into conflicts, as well as to intimidate all Serbs in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, in order to create an ethnically cleansed territory.
Vucevic stressed that Serbia's policy is based on peace and coexistence between Serbs and Albanians.
"Our position is clear, the policy of Serbia led by President of the Republic Aleksandar Vucic and the Government of Serbia is based, first of all, on peace and coexistence between Serbs and Albanians, on political dialogue, reaching agreements, which as a responsible country we have shown and proven countless times," said the minister, writes Kosovo Online.
Vucevic told the Albanian politicians who are making these dangerous statements and threats that they should know and be aware that the borders of Serbia are known and that, according to UN Security Council Resolution 1244, they are on the Sara and Prokletije mountains.
"We will never allow the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija to be unprotected, and that is why they must know that Serbia is not a punching bag, and that, unlike ten years ago, economically, but also in every other sense, it is far stronger," concluded Vucevic.
