Father of school massacre shooter had 5 rifles, 2 pistols in a safe: He regularly took him to a shooting range
The well-known doctor, a radiologist, is awaiting a hearing at the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade
The father of the boy, K. K. (13), who yesterday committed a massacre in his school in Belgrade - the kind that is unprecedented in Serbia's history - is in custody and is awaiting hearing at the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade.
Telegraf.rs has learned that the police found as many as five guns in a safe in the apartment of this prominent radiologist. His son brought two pistols to the school.
He shot accurately from a CZ99 and killed 8 students and a guard. He did not use the other gun, nor the four Molotov cocktails he also brought with him.
There are six wounded children and a history teacher in the hospital right now. Two of them are in critical condition.
Unofficially, the suspected shooter's father took him to a well known Belgrade shooting range for the first time when the child was 12. The last time he was there was a month ago.
"The investigation should determine who allowed a child to shoot at a shooting range," says our source close to the investigation.
K.K. planned the crime for a month. The police found two notes on the desk in his bedroom. They contained the names of the children he planned to kill, as well as his plan of movement through the school.
K.K. showed no remorse after he was arrested.
He kept mum about the motive.
