The police took K.K. (14) away, leading him out of a Belgrade elementary school after he killed at least eight children, a guard, and seriously wounded a history teacher.

It is believed that the boy used his father's pistol to commit the massacre around 8 o'clock this morning.

The police led K.K. out of the school premises. He had a black cloth thrown over his head to hide his face, and was walking calmly as if nothing had happened.

It is suspected that he took a pistol along with five clips early this morning and went to school.

At the entrance, he was met by a security guard with whom he had an altercation, and started kicking trash cans. Then, he shot and killed the guard in cold blood before proceeding to the classroom.

A large number of distressed parents have gathered in front of this elementary school in Belgrade's central Vracar municipality, awaiting any news.

There are also many police and ambulance crews.
