Gjoshi: With elections, Kurti and Osmani showed that citizens do not listen to Pristina, but to Belgrade
During the elections held on Sunday, 1,567 citizens, or 3.47 percent of the electorate, cast their ballots
The secretary of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Betim Djosi, stressed that Albin Kurti and Vjosa Osmani failed with the elections in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, adding that they showed that the citizens of the municipalities where the elections were held are not listening to Pristina, but to Belgrade, reports Kosovo Online.
Gjoshi wrote on Facebook that it is not a personal failure of Osmani and Kurti but, as he says, unfortunately, of Kosovo.
"Albin Kurti and Vjosa Osmani have failed! Unfortunately, this is not their personal failure, but that of the republic of Kosovo. Today, Albin Kurti and Vjosa Osmani made a u-turn and destroyed what had been built with great effort. Albin Kurti and Vjosa Osmani showed the world today that the citizens in those municipalities do not listen to Pristina, but to Belgrade. Their adventures and political immaturity created harmful circumstances for Kosovo," wrote Gjoshi.
The Central Election Commission announced that, according to preliminary results, the Self-Determination Movement won the race for the mayors of the municipalities of North Mitrovica and Leposavic, while the Democratic Party of Kosovo won in Zvecan and Zubin Potok.
During the elections held on Sunday, 1,567 citizens, or 3.47 percent of the electorate, cast their ballots.
