Vucic receives Albares: "Always good to meet with friends who respect Serbia"
He assessed that the meeting with Albares was good and said they also discussed world events
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic met today with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain Jose Manuel Albares, whom he thanked for his country's principled position to not recognize the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo and Metohija and for the active support that Spain provides to Serbia in international forums.
"I expressed concern about the increasingly frequent attacks on Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija and the expectation that the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO), as an absolute priority, will finally enable the safety of the Serb community," Vucic said, according to a post on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav."
He assessed that the meeting with Albares was good and said they also discussed world events.
"Always good to meet with friends who respect Serbia, with an open and substantive exchange of opinions about current developments on the geopolitical scene of the region and the world, as well as about Spain's support for Serbia's European integration process, especially in light of the Spanish presidency of the EU Council," wrote Vucic.
