Hunt for the killer of a girl in Ripanj: He stabbed the whole family, the parents fighting for their lives

The crime happened shortly after 2 pm in Ripanj, a Belgrade suburb, and according to unofficial information, a girl, the daughter of a married couple, has succumbed to her injuries

The police are looking for S.I (38), who is suspected of having stabbed his neighbors - a man and a woman, and killed their child. Police Operation Vihor is now in effect.

The crime happened shortly after 2 pm in Ripanj, a Belgrade suburb, and according to unofficial information, a girl, the daughter of the married couple, has succumbed to her injuries.

Reports say that S.I. fled the scene with the child in his car, whom he threw out about 2 kilometers from the house, to then proceed to stab in the stomach with a knife.

"S.I. knew the family well. In a frenzy, he ran into their house and stabbed them frantically. The child is in the most serious condition, and the doctors are fighting to save the lives of the father and the mother," a source told Kurir earlier.

Locals add that S.I. fled the crime scene saying he would kill himslef.

"Allegedly, he suspected that they were casting black magic on him and that's why he burst into their house. There is blood everywhere, screams and wailing can be heard," said one resident of this settlement.

According to unofficial information, the police surrounded Ripanj and are looking for S.I., who fled the scene in a black Polo car.

Reports in the meantime said that the suspect had been found and was threatening police officers with a knife. He eventually surrendered to the police.
