December in April: Here's where it's currently raining and where it's snowing in Serbia; there's also sunshine
The maximum temperature today will range from 6 degrees Celsius in Vojvodina to 12°C in the southeast of Serbia
The weather continues to be very cold for this time of year, and there is also precipitation in parts of the country.
Rain was falling this morning in much of Vojvodina, especially in Backa and Srem regions, and occasionally also in Podrinje, Macva, Kolubara District and in Timocka and Negotinska Krajina. In the morning, light rain also fell in the Belgrade area.
And while it rains in these parts, snow is falling on Mt. Fruska Gora 300 meters above sea level and up, on the mountains around Valjevo, but also on the mountains of eastern Serbia.
Current temperatures in most of Serbia range from 1 to 5°C, in Belgrade it was 3°C on Friday before noon, while the warmest weather was in Loznica with 7°C. Mountains Zlatibor and Sjenica measured -1°C, and Kopaonik -7°C.
The snow has melted in most of Serbia. There is 10 to 20 centimeters of snow in the mountains, and on the higher ones above 1,500 meters and on Kopaonik there is about half a meter of snow.
For the rest of the day, it will be cloudy and very chilly in Serbia, light to moderate rain is expected mainly in the north and east, and sleet and snow in higher areas.
There will be sunny intervals in the south.
The maximum temperature today will range from 6 degrees Celsius in Vojvodina to 12°C in the southeast of Serbia, up to 8°C in Belgrade. Today's temperatures are 10 degrees below average for this time of year.
Very unstable weather will continue this April. However, according to current forecasts, there will be spring-like days next week, with temperatures reaching up to 20°C.
As the roads throughout Serbia and in Belgrade are wet and slippery, it is recommended to drivers to be more careful and to adapt their driving to weather and traffic conditions.
