The Belgrade police, in cooperation with the First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office, arrested six people today, including two minors, for attacking and robbing members of a trumpet orchestra, "Kobre," from Vladicin Han.

Trumpeters Zoran D. (22) and Goran S. (47), who were assaulted along with two of their colleagues near the Betonska Hala venue in Belgrade's Karadjordjeva Street are in serious condition at the Emergency Center. They were beaten with baseball bats and sticks.

As Telegarf.rs has learned, one of the injured told the police that they were attacked "as soon as they got out of the car, that there were about 30 men and that they were beaten with baseball bats."

"While one was hitting me, another was playing the accordion next to me. Some of my colleagues saved themselves by running away," one of the victims told investigators.

He said he suspected that "the motive behind the attack is jealousy." However, he could not reveal the identity of the attackers.

Malisa A. (46) and Ivica S. (26) were admitted to the hospital with minor injuries.

The victims told the inspectors that the attackers also took their trumpets.

The police found four instruments in possession of those who have now been arrested.
