The special envoy of the European Union for the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajcak, announced that as part of the next step in the dialogue, he will invite the main negotiators of both sides, Petar Petkovic and Besnik Bislimi, to Brussels, in order to discuss the implementation steps of what has been agreed.

In an interview with Euronews Serbia and Radio Free Europe, Lajcak stated that the issue of implementation now basically falls to the level of the main negotiators, and when asked if there is a need for a meeting between President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, and Prime Minister of the Pristina Provisional Institutions Albin Kurti, Lajcak said that both levels are required.

"The leaders agree on a strategic way forward and the chief negotiators discuss implementation details in line with what the leaders have agreed. The process really takes place at both levels. Therefore, it is very logical that the two main negotiators and experts are now discussing how to implement what was agreed in Brussels on February 27 and in Ohrid on March 18," said Lajcak.
