Although it was held in Serbia last year, the Serbia Open tournament had to be moved in 2023, as our country wants to prepare for a 500 series event.

Thus the host this year is Banja Luka, and the name Srpska Open was symbolically assigned to the tournament. It is now known which players will arrive in the Serb Republic (Republika Srpska, the Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH).

This 250 series tournament runs from April 17 to 23 and will feature some of the biggest tennis stars in the world.

The biggest name is Novak Djokovic, the Serbian tennis player who took second place in Belgrade last year, when Andrey Rublev, who is also coming to Banja Luka, was better than him in the final.

In addition to these two, there are also Borna Coric, Miomir Kecmanovic, Tallon Griekspoor, Richard Gasquet, Jiri Lehecka, Benjamin Bonzi, Alex Molcan, Laslo Djere, Gregoire Barrere, Federico Coria, Dusan Lajovic, Filip Krajinovic, Stanislas Wawrinka, Juan Pablo Varillas, Fabio Fognini, Alexei Popyrin and Marco Cecchinato.

Two wild cards were also awarded, to Gael Monfils and Hamad Medjedovic, and the third one will have to wait a while.

This will be the biggest tennis tournament ever held in BiH.
