The best tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic, is on the list of participants for the Masters in Monte Carlo, which will be played April 9-16.

Djokovic missed the Masters in Indian Wells because he was not allowed to enter the US, and most likely for the same reason he will not play the tournament in Miami, which starts on March 22.

The list of participants of the Masters in Monte Carlo, among others, includes Spaniards Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal, Russians Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev, Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, Norwegian Casper Ruud, American Taylor Fritz, German Alexander Zverev, as well as Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic.

Djokovic won the Monte Carlo title twice in his career (2013 and 2015). For the last two years the winner was Tsitsipas.

In earlier seasons, Djokovic's performance in Monte Carlo was not great, because he would enter the clay season more slowly. However, recently in a conversation with the Serbian media, he said that he hopes that this season he will immediately start with better games, beginning in Monte Carlo, while the main goal is the French Open.
