Deputy PM and Minister of Defense, and Vice President of the Serbian Progressive Party Milos Vucevic said that the president of the Dveri party Bosko Obradovic does not know what the word "peace mission" means, and that the Serbian Army has no interest "in sending children to die in Mozambique" but that this is about participation in crisis areas where peace needs to be preserved.

"Bosko Obradovic, with his address to the media today, first made me laugh, and then worried me a lot, because the man does not know what 'peace mission' means. In the most serious way, he said that Serbia will send its children to die in Mozambique, not knowing that we are not participating in hostilities there. It's as if he 'fell from Mars' now, so he doesn't understand the Army, he doesn't know that the Serbian Army is not preparing for war abroad, but that it's in our national interest to participate where peace is being preserved," stated Vucevic.

He believes that the conditions have been created for members of the Serbian Army to be engaged in the European Union military training mission in Mozambique.

"Bosko was not informed that the Decision on amendments to the Decision on the use of the Serbian Army and other defense forces in multinational operations outside the borders of the Republic of Serbia has been adopted, which created the conditions for members of the Serbian Army, in addition to the multinational operations that were included in the decision from 2019, to also be engaged in the European Union training mission in Mozambique (EUTM Mozambique).

So, under the guise of false patriotism, despite his ignorance, Bosko tried to get under the skin of the deputies, but unfortunately, he failed again. Our children will not be dying, Bosko. Deal with the topics you understand, if such topics exist at all," concluded Vucevic.
